Indian Skipper Virat Kohli has told BCCI that the team has no time to prepare for the bouncy tracks in South Africa. With the ongoing Test Series against Sri Lanka, there is no time left to prepare for the South Africa Series which begins from January 5, 2018.

The skipper also made it clear that he can't guarantee permanent first XI slots for Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja when the team travels abroad, where in all probability, a single spinner will be in operation.(Photo: AP)

Kohli once again vented his rage about the tight schedule the team is facing. When he was asked, whether he is ready to face the bounce, he said, "Unfortunately, we only got a few days to travel to South Africa. So, we have no choice other than getting inside a game situation and think of what is coming ahead of us.

We need at least one-month idle time to get a proper preparation in such scenario." India will finish their tour against Sri Lanka on December 24th and will fly to South Africa on December 27th. Virat Kohli has stressed this point a dozen times regarding the tight schedule to BCCI.
