PujaShoppe.com one of India’s largest portals providing a range of religious and spiritual products and services, has become country’s first start-up to feature at MAPIC, world’s greatest retail show, being held at Cannes, France.


MAPIC is held every year in France at the same venue where the fabled annual film festival takes place. About five thousand companies from all over the world take part in this annual event. This year the Country of honour is USA


Government of India has for the first time put up its own pavilion named ‘India Pavilion’ which was inaugurated by Ms.Beatrice Gravier, Commercial Director of MAPIC in the presence of David Teffler, Director  Asia Pacific. The India Pavilion is being represented by leading companies like The Leela Group, Inorbit Mall, Mani group, Da Milano, Medanta Hospital group just to name a few.


“We are delighted at this feat. PujaShoppe.com happens to be the only start-up company which was selected to take part in the coveted trade show because of its unique business model. Along with our online operations, we have started promoting a Fusion Model which includes setting up of brick and mortar stores to back up its online operations,” said Tapas Mallick, CEO, PujaShoppe.com.

PujaShoppe.com has successfully launched ten stores in Delhi, Haryana, UP, Jharkhand and West Bengal and it has plans to open five hundred stores all over the country. Malice added, “Participating this important trade show as a part of Indian delegate would help this very young company to have its global footprints in countries where there is a sizeable Indian population.”


The business concept and the products of the company have been well received by many companies and it received large number of queries for its master franchises.


PujaShoppe.com offers a host of services including providing priests, customized puja kits and samagri, divine and corporate gifts, vastu & astrology consultancy, puja management among others. Starting with five stores in Gurgaon, Delhi and Ranchi, the portal plans to have a network of 500 offline stores across the country in due course.
