Tata Motors has finally confirmed that the upcoming Altroz will be launched in india in january 2020. Tata Altroz was earlier scheduled to be introduced in mid-2019. Based on the ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) architecture, the premium sedan will compete against maruti Suzuki Baleno, hyundai Elite i20, toyota Glanza, honda Jazz and volkswagen Polo. We are expecting Tata Altroz to be priced in the range of Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Altroz was officially premiered at the 89th Geneva international Motor Show in march 2019. It will be the second vehicle from the company to come with the Impact 2.0 Design Language.
Powering the upcoming Tata Altroz will be a 1.2-litre petrol engine that will deliver 102 hp and 140 Nm of torque. The motor is expected to be offered with manual as well as automatic transmissions. There is no official confirmation about other powertrain options as of now.
