The long awaiting bike, BMW G 310 R, from the joint venture of BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company, will not be introduced to Indian Market in 2016, confirmed by the company. Earlier it was  reported to be launched in the Indian festive season. Instead, its arrival to India can only be  expected in somewhere the first quarter of next year which will be early 2017.

There isn’t any clarification regarding rescheduling of the launch of G 310 R has come from the company officially, but as per the rumours floating in the market, the launched has been postponed because of supply related issues. The reason behind is the demand of the bike. They are playing safe with patience for launching the product only when the supply will be sufficed for the expected demand. The manufacturing of product should cop up with the proper demand and supply ratio.

This is the most awaited project from the joint venture and is the first bike launch after the collaboration of the two since 2013. The 313 cc bike is having a single cylinder, fuel injected, liquid-cooled engine that produces 34 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque @ 7,500 rpm. Reportedly it is one of the smallest two wheelers in the range of German manufacturer's portfolio.
