Ruchi Soya has been recognized for its initiatives and implementation of safety measures with four of its plants receiving the coveted National Safety Awards. The National Safety Awards are awarded by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India in acknowledgement of safety initiatives and recognition of outstanding safety performance at a national level. The awards were distributed by Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour & Employment at a glittering ceremony held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi recently. This is the second year in succession that Ruchi Soya’s manufacturing plants were honoured with this prestigious Government distinction.The four plants of Ruchi Soya which were felicitated for excellent safety practices and processes are: Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Ampapuram (Andhra Pradesh), Kandla (Gujarat) and Karanpura (Bihar).
