Uttar Pradesh Education Board (UPEB) is going to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the recruitment of Primary (Class 1 to 5) and Secondary (Class 6 to 8) teachers in the schools of Uttar Pradesh on 4th February 2015. These papers will provide you the information regarding the questions were framed, the syllabus and the way one should present the exam. Candidates who had applied should prepare from now to crack the examination. Aspirants who did not apply can apply as the last date for the filling online application is 16th December 2015.
UPTET Syllabus, Exam Pattern and Previous Year Papers 2015:
Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET. The test is conducted in order fulfill and achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. TET was introduced by the Government of India in order to improve standards in teaching. This year UPEB released the notification for UPTET and the candidates who had applied can check the syllabus, exam pattern and previous year papers from the article.
UPTET Syllabus:
Candidates who have applied and are going to apply can check the UPTET syllabus here. . The exam is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. The Punjab TET Paper 1 and Paper 2 Syllabus is given below.
UP TET Paper 1 Examination Pattern and Syllabus:
The Paper-1 consists of 150 questions which carry 1 mark each. There is no negative marking and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes. The question paper consists of four parts i.e

- Languages ( Hindi & English/Urdu )
- Mathematics
- EVS
