KS Bhatia, besides other CEOs, strongly feels that WFH besides the employment sector will also boost the real estate sector as people will require more living spaces to work from home. The demand for the housing will go up and sales will improve. Startups and CEOs had a first-hand experience with the work from home (WFH) culture during the first and second phase of the nationwide lockdown in various parts of the country.
The experiences are quite encouraging as far as the scope and ambit of WFH in future is concerned. The CEOs based in chandigarh see a lots of scope for the new working style. "WFH will also boost the real estate industry which will give a fillip to the economy. We should promote this culture. We will have to encourage more startups. This has a big relation with productivity," KS Bhatia added. Ludhiana-based HR professional and CA, rajeev Sharma also listed the benefits of WFH including flexible schedule, zero commuting and office distractions.
"There are many businesses and services that can be run by working from home. It will not only save people from crowds and traffic snarls but also save their money. There will be a few distractions which will boost the manpower and efficiency," rajeev Sharma said.
