Accordingly the proud habitat of lions in India, Gir National Park has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in India. Situated 360kms from Ahmedabad, Gir is one national park in India that one must visit.

Moreover there are also 250 species of birds, which also makes it an appropriate place for bird watching in West India. Gir is also one of the best places for wildlife photography in India. Winter can be perfect season to visit Gir National Park as one has more chances of spotting lions that come out in open for sunbathing.
