According to sources Bajaj had introduced 5-5-5 festive offer back in October 2018 which included five years of free damage insurance cover, five free services and a free five year warranty package on some of its motorcycles. The company has now extended this offer till December 31, 2018 and added the Dominar 400 ABS to the list of bikes the scheme is available with. Bajaj is calling the reintroduced offer ‘Goodbye 2018’.
A five-year warranty package is available on all Bajaj bikes, however, it is only the CT100, Platina and Dominar that benefit from five years of own damage insurance. Other models like the Pulsar, Avenger, V and Discover only get one year of own damage insurance.
As for the free services, the offer will see Bajaj do away with labour costs. Buyers will get three free services in the first year after purchase, and two in the second year. Third-party insurance and compulsory accidental cover is not part of the free insurance offer.
