It seems they were surprised why Andhra Pradesh Government was spending so lavishly when a ceremony has already took place earlier. The source added that Prime Minister office took offense to the fact that Chandra Babu had invited the heads of Japan and Singapore without following protocol.

According to government rules, such invites should be sent only through external affairs ministry. The buzz is that the prime ministers of Japan and Singapore are staying away from the event.

With immediate response, Chandra babu Naidu had a meeting with cabinet members and discussed regarding cutting down the costs. Finally everyone came to a conclusion that the cost should be under Rs.10 Crores.
