However she surprised all by marrying AL.Vijay,Kollywood director few years back. According to the latest she is turning mom err not in real life but in reel life. Speaking to scribes she said Kollywood hero Dhanush asked her to watch Hindi film Nil Battey Sannata and after watching the film she felt it would be great if she gets role similar to that.
She said Dhanush shocked her by offering her the role of a woman who is mother of 13 year old. The film is now getting remade in Tamil as Amma Kanaku. She said at first her husband Vijay was aprehensive of her doign the role but after listening to the script,he gave green signal.
