Md. Azharuddin rose to fame as stylish batsman from Hyderabad and went on to captain Team India. World hails him for his elegant wrist play and terrific fielding. Not many knows that he visited the sets of Natasimha Balakrishna. 


The incident happened when Balakrishna was shooting for his sci fi thriller Aditya 369 under the direction of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. Azhar one day dropped in the sets much to the delight of everyone. Infact Subhalekha Sudhakar,who starred in the film is a diehard cricket fan and almost all Indian cricketers used to visit his house and dine with them. They include Azhar, Gundappa Viswanath, Arun Lal and others who visited Subhalekha Sudhakar's house in Chennai. 

Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, actor Subhalekha Sudhakar, actor Chalapathi Rao, director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin.

Balakrishna and Azharuddin used to be classmates in Nizam college and both used to play cricket. The film recently completed 25 years and filmmakers shared these facts with fans. Chiranjeevi and Vijaya Shanti promoted the film starring in ads in Doordarshan. 


Now efforts are on to come with the film sequel titled Aditya 999. Film is expected to mark the debut of Balakrishna's son Mokshagna. Currently Balakrishna is busy with his 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni. Film is progressing at brisk pace in Georgia. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director and film stars Hema Malini,Kabir Bedi and Shriya.
