Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, who started off with the superhit romantic entertainer Ishqazaade with Parineeti Chopra, later went off the track and went on to star in flop movies like Gunday, Ki and Ka, and many more, including the recent Half Girlfriend
The actor's sinking career had received a ray of hope, when he had been signed to star as the lead in the Hindi remake of 2017 sensational blockbuster of Tollywood, Arjun Reddy, directed by Sandeep vanga in which he will reprise the role of an alcoholic doctor with attitude and anger management issues, played by Vijay Deverakonda in the original.
Now, the actor has been signed to play the lead in yet another remake, and this time it's gonna be the remake of the 2015 Malayalam blockbuster, the sensational romantic entertainer Premam, that had Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastien and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles.
The movie was also remade in Telugu earlier, and now the Hindi remake will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor of Rock On, Kai Po Che, and Fitoor fame, and will release in 2019. Shruti Haasan who reprised the role in Telugu version is expected to do the same in Hindi version too.
