Director anurag kashyap has been known for his hard-hitting movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Ugly, No Smoking, Black friday, Gulaal and had last directed Manmarziyaan. Currently, he directed a horror drama with taapsee pannu and is also bankrolling the movie Saand Ki Aankh starring taapsee pannu and bhumi pednekar and the movie got released this Diwali.
Bollywood industry's one of the most noted filmmakers today, but director anurag kashyap initially had no plans of entering bollywood and instead wanted to be a scientist and Anurag has studied Zoology from delhi with the dream of winning a Nobel prize, but eventually gave it up when he has "discovered" cinema.
Recently he had addressed PM modi on twitter that his followers were threatening his daughter and now he has deleted his twitter account itself after tweeting that his parents are getting threat calls and his daughter was getting online rape threats. The actor in his recent interview to a leading bollywood magazine revealed that his family is still facing the heat and his daughter, in particular, receives lots of rape threats and he is keeping a low profile.
