Actor Daniel balaji, brother of actor murali had begun with a small role in the radhika starrer blockbuster serial Chithi and played menacing villainous roles in movies such as Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyadu, Pollathavan, besides also playing positive roles in Muthira and Kaakha Kaakha.

Daniel balaji will play the lead in a web series titled Godman which will have the actor playing a negative shaded role as a holy guru and this series is helmed by Babu Yogeswaran known for making Jayam Ravi's Daas and the upcoming vijay antony starrer Thamizharasan. shruti haasan who worked on a hollywood web series has now signed her next web series and Daniel will be a part of that. shruti is also busy with ravi Teja's 'Krack'and she is also working with vijay sethupathi for 'Laabam'.
