Milky babe tamannaah had last appeared in the AL vijay directorial disastrous horror comedy Devi 2 and again she is into the horror-comedy genre with the movie petromax, directed by Rohin Venkatesan known for making debut with the thriller Athe Kangal.
Petromax is bankrolled by Eagle Eyes production and happens to be the official tamil remake of the telugu hit Anando Brahma that had another milky babe taapsee pannu in lead role and here tamannaah will be the lead and the movie has music scored by Ghibran.
A few days back the first single from the movie Malarudhu Pudhu Naale was released, and now it has been made official that petromax has been ready for tv premiere on Star vijay Channel for this Pongal. The movie which also stars yogi Babu, Kaali Venkat, sathyan and Mansoor ali Khan was a bomb at the Box-Office. The team has now decided to release the movie on the small screen in a short span. This is the first time, a star actress movie is being aired on tv in a very short span.
