Mythri movie Makers had announced vijay Deverakonda's 10th film titled hero with much fanfare. Based on the backdrop of bike racing, The film was being directed by debutante anand Annamalai. The movie shooting started and the team shot a couple of schedules. We are told that they have spent a whopping 5 Crore already on the film but the rushes were not satisfactory.
So, as per the latest reports suggest that vijay deverakonda has decided to scrap the project. After back to back disasters, vijay doesn't want to take any risk and wants to fully concentrate on puri Jagan's film. vijay has promised to compensate them by doing their next movie soon.
Vijay is still searching for a proper hit after geetha Govindham. Except for taxiwala to some extent, none of his films fared well at the Box Office. Even his maiden production venture let him down and so, his fans pinned high hopes on his most recent film, world famous lover but the movie turned to be an even bigger flop. So, it has to be seen if the actor will make a comeback with Puri's film which will release in May.
