Young filmmaker santhosh Jayakumar began his career with an unexpected genre of films which was adult comedy entertainers and scored back to back success with his initial movies Hara Hara Mahadevaki and Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu and last delivered the Arya - Sayyeshaa comedy Ghajinikanth.
Following the failure of Ghajnikanth, he tried to move away from his usual style of adult flicks and had launched a movie named as Theemaidhaan Vellum starring his first two movie hero karthik -Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>gautham karthik but unexpectedly the film was dropped and he moved on to start the movie Pulanaivu starring Arvind Swami.
The latest announcement from the director's side is that santhosh Jayakumar will next be directing a sequel to IAMK which is titled Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu 2, and the shock is that santhosh himself will be making his debut as a hero and will have two heroines from mumbai Karishma and Akriti. Yaashika Aanand wouldn't have imagined such a reception after acting in low—budget movies. She started her career with the movie 'D16' where she essayed role of a rape victim. Recently, she acted in the 'Adults Only' movie, 'Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kuthu'.
