Actor simbu was last seen on screen earlier this year in the movie Vanthaa Rajavathaan Varuven directed by sundar c and this movie co-starring megha akash and ramya krishnan was the official remake of the Tollywood blockbuster Attarintiki Daaredhi.
However despite the success formula, the outdated content meant the movie ended a massive disaster and the actor who was supposed to act in Maanadu, the political entertainer directed by venkat prabhu and bankrolled by suresh Kamatchi escaped from india and went on holiday.
After lots of chaos and conflicts the actor has finally agreed to shoot for the movie from january but however has not reduced his weight a bit, and with recent photos of the actor where he is seen with a girl turning viral, the actor has been trolled heavily by netizens for resembling his dad T Rajendar in looks. Actor simbu is the man of controversy as far as kollywood is concerned and before few months he was ousted from director venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu the political entertainer which was launched last year, and due to the extreme delays caused by the actor, producer suresh Kamatchi himself removed him.
