Reportedly, the makers had approached the U-Turn actress to play the lead role in the film. While the actress was impressed with the idea, she hasn't signed on the dotted lines yet.
Reports suggest that the telugu remake of Dia is in the nascent stage and would materialise in the coming weeks.
