Ulaga Nayagan kamal haasan has teamed up with magnum opus maker shankar 23 years post their massive vigilante blockbuster indian, with its sequel Indian 2 which is bankrolled by lyca productions and had recently planned to restart the shooting.
With just less than a week of shooting done, a story has been turning viral and it is said to be that of Kamal's indian 2. It has been said that the movie will have siddharth and rakul preet singh as a couple who run a website that will be exposing corruption, leading to Senapathi arriving to india and helping them.
The movie will later shift to Senapathi punishing the corrupt people in the state along with help taken from varma Kalai specialist Kajal Aggarwal. While there is no official confirmation in this regard, Indian 2 has been shooting at a brisk pace before the corona outbreak and being planned as tamil new year 2021 release.
