Basavatarakam Indo American cancer hospital and research has completed 20 years by today. This is the hospital is started by Ex- prime minister Vaj payee. The hospital chairman and managing trustee N Bal krishna has thanked the staff, doctors and donors. indian American cancer organization ( I A C O ) in association with U S A has started Indo American cancer hospital and research institute on june 22 2000. Nearly 2 and half lakh people got benefited from this hospital .

As a part of this, the then chief minister nandamuri taraka rama rao established the foundation in 1988 .
