Superstar rajinikanth had recently made several statements during his speech against periyar in the 50th-anniversary function of Tughlaq magazine and this had caused furor all over as DMK and many supporting political outfits started forcing Rajnikanth to apologize.
Dravida Kazhagam had also gone to the extent of filing a police complaint against him but even after that Superstar Rajnikanth who arranged a press meet said that what he had spoken in the speech were facts and that he will not apologize for his statements.
