The story of the movie revolves about the life of Murugan a lorry driver who has some vengeance against Tiger. This boy has got extraordinary skills and lived in a village called Puliyoor. He kills Tigers that attacks the people and the man-eaters. The story moves as how he overcomes from many problems is the story.
The movie features Mohanlal, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Jagapathy Babu, Lal, Vinu Mohan , Kishore, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Namitha in lead roles. Vysakh's direction is tremendous and his making was phenomenal. Shaji Kumar's cinematography work was superb and he has taken us deep inside the forest with the excellent camera work. Peter Hein the Indian movie choreographer was brought in the movie by the director. His work was amazing in the movie.
The action scenes are taken excellently, where Mohanlal has acted with utmost dedication and sincerity. Gopi Sunder's music was melodious and the Back scores was done excellently. Johnkutty has looked after the editing part and his work was classy.
Mohanlal's energy in the first half was lesser when compared to the second part. Shaji Kumar's cinematography work was amazing. The movie has a good enough story to keep the audience engaged while providing ample thrills through Peter Hein choreographed fantastic action sequences. The stunt scene are choreographed very well and Mohanlal's acting as Pulimurugan is phenomenal. Kamalinee Mukherjee and Jagapathy Babu have acted decently.
