Bottom Line: Vijay Sethupathi rescues Sindhubaadh

After starring in the Multi-starrer Super Deluxe, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is back on screen this time as a solo hero with his Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Sethupathi maker Su Arunkumar in Sindhubaadh. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Sindhubaadh review.

Thiru(Vijay Sethupathi) who has issues with hearing and Super (Surya) are petty thieves in Tenkasi and Thiru falls for Venba (Anjali) who has a loud speaking condition. As they get United, trouble arrives in the form of the deadly Ling (Linga) who abducts Venba to Malaysia. How Thiru and super rescued Venba is what the movie is all about.

Star Performance

Vijay Sethupathi as always is entertaining and perfectly emotes. He's good in the action episodes as well and gets a massy makeover that sits well on him. Anjali is gorgeous and acts very well, and Linga is menacing. Surya as Vijay Sethupathi's sidekick is adequate while Vivek Prasanna and George are cast well and the rest of the cast doesn't get much scope.

Techinical Team

Background score by Yuvan Shankar Raja is scintillating while his songs don't impress. Vijay karthik's cinematography captures the stunning action episodes perfectly. Editing by Ruben is taut and keeps the movie engaging.

Su Arunkumar after proving himself as a mass movie maker with Sethupathi yet again has tried his hands on commercial entertainment and with Sindhubaadh he has bettered as well. While first half of Sindhubaadh moves without much incidents happening in a fun way, the interval point is where it gains momentum and second half is racy. With power packed performance and action by Vijay Sethupathi, the shortcomings of the film are eclipsed, and though there are pace and logic issues, the crisp runtime and interesting twists and scenes make Sindhubaadh a worthy action flick.
