Bottom Line: Sundeep Kishan manages a success thanks to Caarthick Raju's unique script and engaging screenplay

After a number of disastrous outings, young hero Sundeep Kishan is returning on screen teaming up with debutant director Carthick Raju from Kollywood and newbie Anya Singh, in the mystery flick Ninnu veedani needanu Nene. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Ninnu Veedani Needanu Nene review.

The movie begins in 2035 with a psychologist (Murali Sharma) explaining his students of a story that happened in 2013 with a couple Rishi and Diya (Sundeep Kishan and Anya Singh) and slowly the couple start encountering paranormal incidents and whenever he sees himself on mirror, a different face comes. Who's the one on mirror? How's another couple Arjun - Madhavi connected to Rishi - Diya, was the mystery resolved is what the movie is about.

Star Performance

Sundeep Kishan delivers an interesting performance and excels in romance, as well as the confused, terrifying portions of the movie and conveys emotions perfectly. Debutant Anya Singh is pretty and adds the romantic angle and generates scares. Vennela Kishore plays a very key role coming for most of the screentime and entertains with his mysterious, humorous acts. Murali Sharma and Rahul Ramakrishna evoke laughs as well and are apt, while the rest of the cast including Pragathi, posani are adequate.

Techinical Team

SS Thaman's background score sends chills down the spine, while of his songs, Excuse me crooned by Siddharth is appealing. Cinematography by PK Varma is top notch, capturing the horrifying episodes well. Praveen KL's crisp editing makes Ninnu Veedani Needanu Nene exciting and engaging.

Director Caarthick Raju has chosen an unconventional plot for his Tollywood debut and the efforts have paid off, as his screenplay manages to engage audience almost throughout the movie.  The first half of the movie moves leisurely establishing the characters and towards the interval with a huge twist takes momentum and the second half with its stunning twists and scare moments has lots of goosebumps stuff and entertains. With Sundeep Kishan impressive, and Technical finesse, Caarthick Raju delivers a slick, novel entertainer that engages and thrills.
