Mask supposed to be South India's first superhero film and about a man who cannot tolerate injustice and corruption and hence turns into a vigilante to fight against it for a better society. Producer R.B.Chowdary spent a whopping budget of 45 crores for his hero son. Superhero outfit which is specially designed weighs more than 10 kg.       STORY: Film starts with a house robbery by a gang of people. Gaurav [Nassar] a cop who has missed twice to catch this thief’s will be given the charge to deal this case. Bruce Lee [Jiiva] is jobless guy who has interest in learning kung fu, he gets training by Chandru [Selvaah]. One day Lee was made caught by polices by Shakthi[Pooja Hegde] when she sees him fighting with some fish market people. Lee falls in love at first site with Shakthi. To win her heart Lee takes up the superman avatar and accidently helps cops to catch one of the gang member from the robbery.The robbery gangs keeps tracking for Lee to take revenge on him. Before the interval scene Lee goes to Shakthi home to propose his love, but he will accidently gets arrested for shooting Gaurav. How does hero gets out of this case? what does he do to gain heroines love? forms the rest of the story. HALLWAY-CONVERSATIONS: The theme of the film is  superhero that lies dormant in every human, who works within his limits. Much hyped heroism of the superhero which are showed in the trailer and posters will only start in the later part of the second half. The love track and Super hero track mix up too much, which makes audiences get bored. Jiiva with his astounding performances in action and chasing scenes are the only valid points in this film. Director Mysskin should be given the full credit for spoiling Jiiva's career in Telugu industry with his story telling ability's and spl direction skills. There is no clue where a huge amount of 45 crores is spend for the film. Pooja Hegde is just taken for songs and no glamour quotient is provided for her. Girish Karnad and Nasser has done a decent job. Technical department which has worked in this film deserves a clean silences.
