Shah Rukh Khan frankly said it is 'Very brave' for those who had returned their awards for their work. But he said he will choose another form of protest like a strike or a march. He also said 'Intolerance is increasing' and that word caused more ripples

Anil Kapoor also said intolerance is existing in India and returning awards can never be justified at any cost.
Kamalhaasan
The veteran actor feels that returning awards is "futile." He also said like Shah Rukh Khan. He said there are other ways to protest. But returning awards is not the right way

She said, Artists are dying to get a National award and it is a national reputation. There is no point in returning awards.

Vidya Balan
Vidya Balan who got National award for 'The Dirty Picture' said her work has got the recognition and the people have paid her the National Award and not the Government. She feels it is not right to give back the Government.
