'Puli' must be the biggest flop of 2015 in whole of Kollywood fraternity. Ever since the movie was disclosed, there has been a negative buzz surrounding it and now the results clearly prove that. Shibu Thameens and Vijay's former PRO PT Selva Kumar produced the project under SKT studios banner.
Vijay who is known for playing spoil sport in senior actors career earlier gave failure with Mohan Lal in 'Jilla', Sathyaraj in 'Thalaivaa' and now Sridevi in 'Puli'. Sridevi earlier made complaint that she was not paid a sum of Rs.50 Lakhs.
Now responding to her complaint, the production house has said, only Sridevi has to pay them. The production house confessed that SriDevi was paid a sum of Rs.3 Crores as salary including taxes.
The statement reads, "We were paying her as per the agreement she had signed at the beginning of the movie. However, in the final stages of production, Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor asked us to pay her extra as we were planning to release the film in other languages too."
