'Uppu Karuvadu' featured Comedian Karunakaran and Nandita Swetha in lead roles. Rest of the cast includes artist like M.S. Bhaskar, Mayilswamy, Saams, Kumaravel, Narayan and Senthil.
Technical team features Mahesh Muthusamy for cinematography. Ramjee Narasiman of First Copy Pictures and Radha Mohan’s Night Show Pictures has produced this movie as a joint venture. The movie has shown struggles of a debut film-maker in a humorous way.
Director Radha Mohan was happy as the movie got positive word of mouth. But it seems the positive response never worked more in favour of the movie. The torrential rains and floods spoiled the party and it became a huge loss for the makers.
