These days Kollywood movies are mostly preferring remakes. And even for remakes they just choose Malayalam movies. Thanks to success of 'Papanasam'. After 'Drishyam', now Malayalam movie 'Memories' is remade with Arulnidhi in lead role.
'Vallinam', 'Eeram' fame Arivazhagan directs the project. Monal Gajjar is pairing opposite Arulnidhi and this venture will be produced by Sri Thenandal Films. The shooting went on from September and it progressed at a brisk pace.
The original Malayalam version was directed by Jeetu Jospeh and the movie was all about a drunkard cop who investigates series of murders. Aishwarya Dutta also did a pivotal role. The shooting is going to be completed in a week's time.

Actor Arulnidhi has tweeted and confirmed the news. He tweeted, "#AaraathuSinam ..teaser will be released on Dec 31st ..." The trailer will be revealed by evening 6pm.
