Yes. It is true that Rana missed two hits due to Bahubali. It’s said by Rana himself. But after Bahubali; he became a national level celebrity. He has appeared in few films in Bollywood before but couldn’t succeed. Now; he says that he has missed few hit movies because of Bahubali. Anyhow his contribution to Bahubali will never go unnoticed.
While giving interview to a social media; the statement which he gave shocked everyone. If I have not committed for Bahubali; I would have given two hit movies as hero he said. Last year; I got the offer of ‘Patas’ from the director Anil Ravipudi where he requested to adjust dates.
As I was busy with the shooting of ‘Bahubali’; Patas went to Kalyan Ram which gave a massive hit he said. Same way Rana got an opportunity from Jayam Raja who gave super hit movie ‘Dhani Oruvan’ but Rana faced the same problems regarding dates. So that movie was made with his brother Jayam Ravi he continued.
However sacrifices made by Rana made Bahubali big hit. But it has bought fame only for director and hero keeping Rana aside.
