There can be retirement for film stars in the industry but technicians go on working as far as they can. But Creative director Sukumar had already announced his retirement. In an interview, he clarified that he will be retiring from films after completing a couple of his commitments. He reportedly also told his wife about his decision.
"More than being a director, I love to be a writer and producer. These days I often feel that I am not doing justice to my pen on multiple occasions due to direction responsibilities. I will be stopping direction after couple of films. I also told my wife about it," Sukumar said. This is a shocking decision as Sukumar is one of the highest paid directors in Tollywood.
These days we see film writers becoming directors but now a director wants to leave direction to become a full time writer. The ace director is not decided on his next film but is reportedly planning a village based film. He is also currently producing another film Darasakudu which is about a film director falling in love.
