After a harrowing ordeal and a series of surgeries, the 23 year old medical student nicknamed Nirbhaya passed away at the hospital in Singapore. The entire nation is in an uproar with anger since the rapists are still around and no action has been taken on them. Meanwhile, the film fraternity is also up in arms.
As a mark of tribute and respect, it is heard that the Bollywood fraternity is going to hold a silent march in Mumbai and almost the entire film industry will be taking part in it. This is being led by the senior actress Shabana Azmi and it will start from Juhu Beach Gandhi statue to Kaifi Azmi park.
There is also news that apart from the film industry even the noted personalities from theater circuit will take part in the silent march. Whether this will have any effect on the government or not, the gesture from the film fraternity will surely give peace to the poor girl’s soul for the support and affection she is getting.
