'Aligarh' seems to be one of the most controversial movie made in Bollywood. The project was based on the real life incident of Dr.Srinivas Ramchandra Siras. He got suspended from his job as he was 'Gay'. He was working as a professor at Aligarh Muslim University.


Shrinivas role was played by the talented actor Manoj Bajpai and Rajkumar Rao will be seen as a journalist. Due to sexual orientation he was deserted and isolated. The movie which released last week got positive critics and reviews. Now the movie will be screened at JNU.


Director Hansal said, "The movie has reached the right audience. We have got tremendous response from the media. I just can't recall any movie which was reviewed so much. I am still inviting most of the leading critics to watch my movie. The way it was meant to be seen is movie halls.


And I am inviting all those colleagues who believed in the film. The movie will be screened at the JNU as part of the Human Rights Festival. I am happy to see the film reach the places that matter."
