He scored many super hits and blockbuster and his first blockbuster was Okkadu directed by Gunasekhar. The film attracted everyone with its narration, Mahesh's action and melodious songs.
However now this film is competing for worst best film. It is known that this 1998 hit film was remade in Bollywood last year as Tevar with Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha reprising the roles of Mahesh Babu and Bhumika.
However the film turned out to be a disaster failing to recreate the magic of the original. Now the film is running for the best 'WORST'film award.
