Ramesh Goplal Nair popularly called as Remo D’Souza is an Indian dancer, choreographer, actor and film director has also made a contribution to other Indian film industries. He has participated as a judge in a show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa along with the Indian starlet Madhuri Dixit and Karan Johar. Presently he is the Super Judge of the prime time dance show “Dance+” along with Dharmesh Yelande, Shakthi Mohan and Sumeet Nagdev.
Remo is wedded to an Anglo-Indian from Mumbai named Lizelle and she is a fantastic costume designer for many television shows. He has made India’s first 3D dance movie ABCD Anybody Can Dance with contestants from Series of 1 and 2 of Dance India Dance and Prabhu Deva and Lauren Gottlieb from “So You can think You can dance”.
Remo has enacted in Aflatoon, Meenaxi: The tale of three cities, ABCD Anybody can dance; Entertainment and ABCD Anybody can dance 2. His main job is doing choreography. He is presently residing with his family at Andheri west, Mumbai.
He has won Screen Awards as the Best Choreographer for the song “Badtameez Dil from the superb romantic movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. He has also won National Award for Best Choreography for the superb song “Deewani Mastaani” from the great film Bajirao Mastani. Wishes on his birthday and keep going Remo D’Souza.
