Vijay’s movie was anticipated worldwide by his fans but in Chengalpet area alone the movie was not released and his fans are very much shocked as the film was not able to hit the screens. Areas like Parangimalai, Pallavaram, Tambaram, Chengalpet, Kancheepuram, Ambattur and Thiruvallur, the movie was not released in 60 theatres.
Nearly two to three crores amount of loss was incurred in these places. In rest of the Tamilnadu areas, Kerala, Karnataka and in foreign countries, the film has received huge welcome by his fans. For two to three days the anticipation for the movie will be definitely go up.
The film’s quality is more than his Jilla and Puli and lesser than his Thupakki. Many who are watching the movie are saying a good feedback and as the title is kept as Theri and few have told that more emotional scenes are there than action scenes in the movie.
As per the news from the Kollywood film industry the first day revenue would have crossed 12 crores and many are saying that by the end of this week around 50 crores will be earned as collections and chances are more that the collections may increase.
