Harish Shankar is a renowned Director and Screen writer who exclusively works for Telugu cinema. He came into Tollywood through Ravi Teja. Initially he worked as an assistant director for the film 'Ninne Isthapaddanu'. Later he got close with writer Kona Venkat and through him he got close with actor Ravi Teja.
Ravi Teja who was impressed with his work, offered him a chance and his debut movie 'Shock' in 2006 was a colossal flop. However he came back strongly with 'Mirapakay' in 2011 and the movie was both a success in critical and commercial wise.
He later gave the cult classic 'Gabbar Singh' and he was last seen in 'Subramanyam for Sale'. But after that he lacked chances and he was waiting for a movie with lead actors. But none of them came forward and allotted dates.
So in the meantime , he has decided to launch a Production house and produce movies with small heroes and upcoming directors. Right now sources say that, he will be co-producing hero Sai Dharam Tej’s next movie in the direction of writer turned director BVS Ravi.
