Ram Charan might have a dream start to his acting career in Tollywood. But the actor never even attempted to make Non-Masala Mass genre after the colossal flop of 'Orange'. He himself had his boundaries and he started to perform movies around it.
Ram Charna even turned down a script from the passionate film maker Sekhar Kammula. Sekhar Kammula is such a classy director and he knows how to make off beat movies. But Ram Charan never showed any sign of interest. But the director never gave hope and he knocked another door from same camp and he got green signal.
It is none other than Varun Tej. Varun who was mesmerized by Sekhar's narration, nodded 'Yes' for it and even in Past, Varun has been too choosy in his movies. Mukunda with Srikanth Addala and Kanche with Krish were some of the few examples.

The young lad also got more love for sensible movies and he always signs such projects. Okay! Loafer might be an 'Exception'. Also Varun Tej has never entered the Commercial circle so far and he prefers to enter that with Srinu Vaitla's 'Mister' movie.
