Inside sources reveal that Akkineni Akhil and director Vamsi Paidipally's project has been shelved and Vamsi is planning to work with superstar Mahesh Babu for his next movie that will be produced under PVP banner which produced a film each with the actor (Barhmotsavam) and director (Oopiri).
This movie is likely to go on sets after Mahesh Babu wrapping up his film with ARM. Nagarjuna had announced his son Akhil's second movie with Vamsi Paidipally at Oopiri success meet and PVP was confirmed to produce the movie.
The difference between Akhil and Vamsi over subject is said to be the reason for delay in project. While Akhil is interested in remaking Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Vamsi wanted to make the movie with another subject. When the reports of the movie put on hold hit online, both Akhil and Vamsi stated that, the movie is on. Akhil added saying that, he will definitely work on YJHD remake, but with some other director.
Star director Koratala Siva's name is being heard to join hands with Akhil. However, we need to wait for official statement from Akhil or any other Akkineni family members about the hero's next movie! On the other hand, Mahesh Babu wants to work for another movie with PVP, since their last movie Brahmotsavam flopped at box office. Director Vamsi Paidipally is also waiting for long time to join with Mahesh.
