Kirron Anupam Kher s an Indian theatre, film and television actress, a TV talk show host and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. She was elected to the Lok Sabha in May 2014, the lower house of Indian Parliament from Chandigarh. She is from a Sikh family and was brought up in Chandigarh.
She was named 'Kiran' by her parents and her full name was 'Kiran Thakar Singh.' During the period of her first marriage to Gautam Berry, she was known as 'Kiran Berry'. She also got graduated from the Department of Indian Theatre of Punjab University, Chandigarh.
She then married Gautam Berry, a rich Mumbai-based businessman and was blessed with a son named Sikandar. And after getting acquainted with Anupam Kher who was also a struggling actor, she married him. She got divorced with Gautam Berry and tied knot with Anupam on 1985.
Now both of them own a production house together. After long hiatus she made a come back with the movie Shyam Benegal, Sardari Begum (1996), which won her the Special Jury Award at the 1997 National Film Awards. Today the actress turns 61 and on behalf of our team, We wish her a Happy Birthday.
