Sunil is back again to test his luck as a hero with 'Jakkanna'. He is expecting some positive 'Jakkanna' Review this time. Comedian turned hero slowly rose to fame as hero with S.S.Rajamouli's 'Maryada Ramana'. However his recent releases fail at Box-Office and has caused upset to him.
He rests his hopes on this project. Priyanka Chopra's cousin Mannara Chopra did female lead. RPA Creations has bankrolled the project. The movie got some negative reviews from most of the critics. Even fans gave thumbs down as the movie has beaten to death screenplay.
Even Trade pundits reported that the movie failed to capitalize the good start. But the movie's producer R.Sudharshan Reddy refused to accept these and he claimed that the movie has collected opening day share of Rs.3.78 Crores and this is a new record for Sunil. Director Vamsi Krishna Akella also said the movie collected 15.28 Crores in 12 days.
