Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Basu has told that he is keen to start the biopic on legendary singer cum actor Kishore Kumar next year, a slot when Ranbir Kapoor is unavailable, but if the project gets further pushed and the actor will be on board it.
Meanwhile months ago, it was declared that Ranbir was roped in to portray as Kishore Kumar but Anurag has told that at the moment, the actor is not part of the movie as he doesn't have dates next year and is running busy schedule presently.
Anurag has stated that the biopic is definitely happening and Ranbir Kapoor is not doing it currently, which will start it in 2017 then Ranbir will not be able to do it, then the director will go with some other actor and Ranbir is okay with it and it will be delayed further to 2018.
According to the filmmaker, the family of Kishore Kumar is feeling restless about the impending status of the biopic, where the director is ready, producer, family of Kishore Kumar is ready and many are waiting eagerly to start the shoot at the earliest.
