'Janatha Garage' is right now having a bad time in neighbouring states. The mixed reviews and negative criticism is definitely pulling the movie down. Trade pundits expect the opening weekend alone to be solid and then a small decline after that.
The movie got a massive release in 47 screens in Tamil Nadu, 150+ screens in Kerala and 60 screens in Karnataka. Now the movie is expected to be removed from more than 80% of the screens in all the states. Mohanlal might face the music in Kerala due to the below reason,
There are 5 Onam releases piling up for a release. Apart from this, Vikram's 'Iru Mugan' is also gearing up for a release. So the screen count will be considerably reduced in Kerala. That is the same story in Tamil Nadu too.
Similarly in Karnataka, there are 4 big releases and they are also expected to create more troubles for 'Janatha Garage'. Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar's movie might be the biggest road block.
