RTC X Roads in Hyderabad is the hub of cinema theaters over the last few decades. The area lost sheen with the emergence of theaters in all the areas of Hyderabad and multiplex. But still RTC X Roads has its prominence and is even today the main theater of every film in Hyderabad.
So, the film makers and fans take the collections of the films here as the benchmark of the movie success. Good collections here means a hit while bad collections indicate a flop. But a strange scenario happened today at RTC X Roads which came as a huge embarrassment for Nagarjuna and his fans.
Nirmala Convent, the debut film of Srikanth's son, Roshan released today in Shanthi theater. Nagarjuna is playing a little cameo in the movie. The makers have given more visibility to Nagarjuna on the promotional material for obvious reasons which may not be difficult to guess.
But then, Siddhartha, the debut movie of Mogalirekulu hero Sagar (RK Naidu) has registered more collections than Nirmala Convent which comes up as a huge disappointment. Siddhartha which released in Sudharshan 35mm has got 38111 Gross while Nirmala Convent managed 37069.
