Director Teja has made his mark in Telugu audiences heart with creative films giving major importance to story rather than hero and he did experiments in all his films. Starting from his first film Chitram to Jayam, Oka V Chitram, Neeku Naaku Dash Dash Teja has showed new standards in story telling and every time presented entertained audiences.
This time Teja has decided to pay tribute to legendary actresses of Telugu cinema from 1950s to the 1980s through a special song in his forthcoming film Veyyi Abbadalu. Speaking to a media house Teja said, Our legendary leading ladies have not been given their due recognition, so I would like to remind the young generation that the South was once a powerhouse of talent.
This special song will feature Anjali Devi, Kanchana, Vijayanirmala, Saroja Devi, Jamuna and Bharathi along with film lead pair. Shooting of the song is schedule to take place in RFC on 22nd April, 2013 and this five minutes song will be filmed for five days, said sources.
Puri's brother Sairam Shankar and new face Esther are playing lead roles in this romantic entertainer. Ramana Gogula is composing music, Rasool Ellore is handling cinematography and Sunitha Paladugu is producing the movie.
