Power Star is a popular personality across the country. However police in a sensational development arrested Power Star on Monday. They arrested him for duping a Delhi based business man for Rs 5crs. He trapped him on the pretext of facilitating a Rs.1,000 crore loan to his company.
Fans should not mistake this Power Star with our own Mega Brother and Power Star Pawan Kalyan. He is Kollywood hero S.Srinivasan who is also known as Power Star. 52 yrs old Srinivasan was taken to Delhi from Chennai where he was lodged in judicial custody in another cheating case.
Delhi Police arrested Power Star based on the complaint filed by the business man in January. Police revealed ""The businessman met Srinivasan in Chennai, where he was asked to pay Rs.5 crore,The victim paid Rs.5 crore to the accused and he was promised the loan before January 31, 2011. The actor, however, neither arranged the loan nor returned the money".
Srinivasan used the money to fund a film. An acupuncture doctor by profession Srinivasan acted in 12 Tamil films and produced four.
