Tamil Star Hero, Suriya's S3 (Singham-3 / Yamudu-3) did overcome several postponements and finally released this week. There is an uncertainty about the movie release till the last minute due to the political turmoil in Tamil Nadu, as a result, the openings are poor across the globe.
In Nellore, the movie screening was canceled on its Second Day of its release. It is coming out that the Nellore distributor who agreed to pay Rs 90 Lakhs to the producer, paid only 55 lakhs and even after the film release, did not clear the dues forcing the producer to cancel the licenses.
Theater owners too lost interest in the film as the talk is not that great and replaced it with King Nagarjuna's devotional entertainer, Om Namo Venkatesaya in many places. The movie has a pre-release business of over 100 Crore and is likely to result in big losses going by the initial estimates.
