Superstar Rajinikanth and Director Shankar's next magnum opus "2.0", the sequel of Robot is 80% Complete until now. The Last Schedule of the movie is being canned in Chennai and the entire shoot is expected to be complete by the end of March. Some high octane action sequences of the film are left to be canned. The shooting of these action scenes will begin from 19th of this month, Amy Jackson will join Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar for this 12 days action shoot.
This particular action sequence is such that not only special flying and performance equipment have been sourced from abroad, but special stuntmen and aerial action choreographers have also been brought in from Berlin and Los Angeles respectively. Sources say that this sequence will be the major highlight of the film. The movie shocked every one with mind blowing cast and crew which includes Akshay Kumar from Bollywood and several big name technicians from Hollywood who worked for some big name films. Further increasing the heat, Producers of the film, Lyca Productions said that the movie is being made with a whopping 350 Crore Budget.
This is the highest for any film ever made in Indian film history. They also revealed that the movie will release for Diwali this year. For the first time, Shankar is shooting a film in 3D. This is the first time, Amy Jackson is romancing the Superstar. AR Rahman is composing music for the film. He scored music for Robot as well.
